Description: Deputy Sheriff Pill was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop related to a robbery. Deputy Pill pulled the vehicle over and requested that the suspects exit the vehicle. The two suspects in the vehicle had just committed a robbery at a nearby hotel. One of the suspects produced a weapon and shot Deputy Pill four times. The suspects fled the scene but were later apprehended by law enforcement officers. Deputy Pill died at a nearby hospital.
