Description: Special Agent Peebles was shot and killed while investigating the illegal sale of moonshine. Special Agent Peebles and his partner were working in an undercover capacity investigating liquor sales in a local building. As Agents Peebles and Miles attempted to initiate an arrest, the suspect produced a weapon and shot Agent Peebles fatally in the chest. Agent Miles was injured but recovered.
