Description: Deputy Sheriff Pritchard died while investigating a cold case homicide. Deputy Pritchard and fellow officers were searching for a body in a cold case when the search party approached a massive sink hole and Deputy Pritchard fell over the edge. Deputy Pritchard fell approximately 160 feet to his death. Emergency crews recovered his body from the sinkhole four hours later.
