Description: Officer Patman and Officer Barney Daniels were attempting to search a suspect accused of carrying a concealed weapon. While searching the suspect, an unknown man approached the officers and shot Officer Patman in the face. Officer Patman died at the scene. Both suspects fled the scene but were captured the following day and charged with the murder of Officer Patman.
