Description: Officer Profili was shot when he responded to a bank alarm. As Officer Profili entered the first set of double doors with his gun drawn, the suspect opened the second set of double doors and fired one shot into the officer?s forehead. Four suspects fled the scene with $23,466 but all were apprehended. Officer Profili died eight days later from his injuries.
