Description: Officer Parker was attempting to disperse a crowd of angry workers who were striking for better wages when he was grabbed from behind. Officer Parker struck the man with his nightstick and was then shot through the heart. As he fell to the ground, Officer Parker shot at the fleeing men. A little boy followed the suspects who were running away onto a streetcar and alerted the driver of their presence. The driver then summoned a police officer who arrested the suspects.
