Description: Deputy Sheriff Pressley was shot in the abdomen as he attempted to arrest a man who was wielding a rifle and behaving in a boisterous manner. Deputy Pressley died of his injuries three days later. The suspect was killed the next year during an arrest on an unrelated matter.
