Description: Deputy Perry, Marshal Michael Glover and other law enforcement officers went to a hobo encampment to apprehend two suspects wanted in connection with the burglary of a hardware store. A gunfight ensued and Deputy Perry became caught in the crossfire and was shot by a member of the posse (friendly fire). Marshal Glover and Officer Joseph Holzkey also died in this incident. One suspect died and the second man was arrested.
