Description: Officer Pagano was killed in during a high speed chase of robbery suspects. His patrol car skidded off the road into an abandoned truck on the shoulder and caught fire. The suspects had just fled the scene of a robbery. They were later caught and convicted. Another officer, Sergeant Eric Halbekath, was seriously injured in the crash, but survived.
