Description: Patrolman Pearsall was shot at close range with his own weapon while on routine patrol. Patrolman Pearsall encountered an intruder at an abandoned property and a struggle ensued. The suspect gained control of Patrolman Pearsall's weapon and shot him four times. Patrolman Pearson died at the scene.
