Description: Police Officer Pollard was shot as he attempted to arrest a suspect for violating the local liquor ordinance. Officer Pollard returned fire, wounding his assailant. Officer Pollard was transported to the doctor's office where he died. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to 21 years in prison.
