Description: Constable Probeck was attending the theatre with his family when he heard shots fired. Constable Probeck rushed to investigate. Three bandits were in the manager's office attempting a holdup. Constable Probeck was shot once in the chest and died at the hospital. Two suspects were found not guilty in a court of law, while a third man received a prison sentence of 12-23 years for second degree manslaughter.
