Description: Deputy Privett was shot and killed by a prisoner who was attempting to escape the Fulton County jail facility. Deputy Privett was completing paperwork when the prisoner entered the office and took Deputy Privett's service weapon. The suspect shot Deputy Privett in the arm and chest with his own gun before escaping. Deputy Privett was transported to a local hospital where succumbed to his injuries.
