Description: Sergeant Plouff was shot and killed after responding to an officer needs assistance call. Several deputies were attempting to break up a large fight that started inside a local country bar and moved outside to the parking lot. One of the club bouncers produced a weapon and began shooting. Sergeant Plouff was shot in the neck. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.
