Description: Officer Prince was shot and killed after making a traffic stop on Route 87. Dispatch informed Officer Prince that the suspect was wanted on probation violations in a neighboring county. When Officer Prince attempted to arrest the suspect a struggle ensued and the suspect gained control of Officer Prince's service weapon. Officer Prince was shot three times fatally by the suspect with his own gun. The suspect was found guilty of murder and received a sentence of death by lethal injection.
