Description: Patrol Officer Palmatier was directing traffic at an intersection when he was struck by a passing car and was thrown twenty feet. Officer Palmatier was transported to the hospital where he died an hour later. It was later determined that poor lighting conditions at the intersection contributed to Officer PalmatierŸ??s death.
