Description: Deputy Palermo and his partner Deputy Kubuske were on a routine pick-up of a mental patient, when the men refused to be taken in a fled to the bathroom. Officer Palermo wen to get him and to assure him that no one would be hurt, when he was shot more than five times with a revolver. The man continued shooting wildly until finally he was routed from the house with tear gas and then subdued by seven other deputies and policemen.
