Description: Handling mentally deranged person. Patrolman Peterson and Chief James C. Daily were investigating a suspect for threatening other citizens. The suspect had recently been a patient in a local asylum. When the officers approached the suspect he threatened the officers and drew his revolver. Both officers were shot multiple times. They were transported to a local hospital where they died two days later.
