Description: Deputy Marshal Poe was shot and killed while trying to quell a disturbance on a train. Marshal Poe and a posseman were attempting to arrest a suspect when the suspect assaulted Marshal Poe. The suspect then took the posseman's gun and shot Marshal Poe. The train conductor intervened and managed to put the suspect under arrest.
