Description: Deputy Constable Pollock and Constable W. M. Clayton responded to a public dance to restore order. While attempting to remove people from an overcrowded dance platform, a man stabbed Deputy Pollock. Deputy Pollock was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
