Description: Reserve Officer Pozell was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic in the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C. Officer Pozell suffered severe head injuries when he stepped into the path of a SUV that was making a turn. Reserve Officer Pozell was transported to the George Washington hospital where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
