Description: Ranger Patrick was at Point Reyes National Seashore outside San Francisco, California, looking for deer poachers. Ranger Patrick spotted a car parked in a remote location and turned on his flashlight. Ranger Patrick was shot in the chest three times. His body was found the next day. His assailant was convicted of murder and received a life sentence which was later reduced to 30 years.
