Description: Deputy Sheriff Pagerly was shot and killed while serving a warrant with the U.S. Marshal??®s Fugitive Task Force. When officers arrived at the suspect's residence, the suspect ran out the back door and into the woods. While in pursuit of the suspect, Deputy Pagerly was fatally shot. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
