Description: Patrolman Prudent died of a fractured skull when he fell from the running board of an automobile. Patrolman Prudent was responding to a call to disperse a rowdy gang and requested the assistance of a passing motorist. While on the way to the scene, Patrolman Prudent lost his balance, fell from the running board and struck his head. Patrolman Prudent was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
