Description: On November 16, 1974, Police Officer Prince was struck by an impaired driver as he directed traffic at an intersection during a power failure. Officer Prince was transported to the hospital with internal injuries and multiple fractures. Officer Prince did not regain consciousness and died two weeks later on December 1st. The driver pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges.
