Description: Agent Pompei was shot, while off-duty, while attempting to stop a robbery in progress at a supermarket. Agent Pompei took action as the suspects pistol whipped an employee and was shot multiple times in an exchange of gunfire. Agent Pompei was transported to the hospital where he died. Two of the teenage suspects were convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole. The third suspect was sentenced to 26 years to life in prison.
