Description: Deputy Pinson responded to a call where an automobile had crashed into a house. After he had removed the injured driver from the wreckage he attempted to lift the hood to shut off the engine. The gas tank exploded, hurling Officer Pinson several feet into a wall. Officer Pinson's body was burned beyond recognition.
