Description: Officer Partin responded to a backup call for a fellow officer on a local bridge, where officer was in foot pursuit of suspect. When he attempted to jump from the road to the bridge, Officer Partin fell through an opening, and into the Ohio River. Officer Partin's body was not recovered for four months. The suspect was convicted on a second degree charge of manslaughter.
