Description: Detective Phillips was shot and killed while conducting an undercover buy-bust narcotics operation. During the operation, two suspects shot at Detective Phillips and killed him. The suspects attempted to flee but were apprehended and charged with first degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and conspiracy to violate the Drug Conspiracy Act.
