Description: Police Officer Philbrick was struck by two fire trucks at an intersection as he flagged down one of the vehicles in an attempt to avert the collision. The fire trucks were responding to a two-alarm fire when the incident occurred. Officer Philbrick was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. A fire private was also killed and five others were injured. Inadvertent action.
