Description: Patrolman Pape was shot and killed as he attempted to arrest a juvenile who had stolen a car from a local residence. Patrolman identified the car and was attempting to place the juvenile under arrest when he was shot in the abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
