Description: Postal Inspector Parnell died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile crash on January 25, 2007, while working on an investigation in conjunction with the FBI. Inspector Parnell was investigating Hurricane Katrina related fraud when his vehicle was struck head-on. Inspector Parnell suffered severe brain injuries and a fractured neck. Inspector Parnell never fully recovered from his injuries and died on July 26, 2012.
