Description: Keeper Purdy collapsed after responding to a fire in an inmate's cell in the Fifth District Court Prison. Keeper Purdy ran to the cell to find the inmate's bed on fire as well as the clothes she was wearing. Keeper Purdy collapsed and died at the scene. The inmate, who was on suicide watch, survived the incident.
