Description: Marshal Pratt was shot and killed by an unidentified assailant while on patrol. Marshal Pratt was known for his opposition to bootleggers and had received numerous threats in response to his efforts. Marshal Pratt was found with gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Two suspects were arrested and charged with the crime.
