Description: Officer Pogue was shot while serving a search warrant at a residence for illegal liquor. The suspect ran down the hall and procured a .38 caliber revolver. Officer Rolias Neal struggled with the suspect for control of the gun. As Officer Pogue approached the two men, the suspect shot Officer Pogue in the stomach. Officer Pogue died the next day of his injuries. The suspect was indicted for murder.
