Description: Officer Perkins was killed in an automobile accident while assisting a neighboring agency apprehend a suspected drunken driver. While attempting to make a U-turn on Highway 395, Officer Perkins was struck by a tractor trailer. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
