Description: Officer Pennington made a traffic stop and arrested two suspects for traffic violations. Because he was patrolling on his motorcycle, he instructed the suspects to follow him to the police station. When they arrived at police headquarters, one of two suspects shot him five times as he was getting off his motorcycle. Two months later the same two suspects were apprehended for a robbery in Los Angeles. Officer W. H. Kesterson was shot and killed. His partner Officer Patrick returned fire and killed both suspects.
