Description: Detectives Parker and Patrick Rafferty were shot and killed after responding to a domestic disturbance call. The suspect, who had assaulted his mother, was violating a restraint order and attempting to enter the residence. After arriving on the scene, the Detectives attempted to arrest the suspect and a fight ensued. The suspect was able to gain control of one of the officer's weapon and shot them both fatally in the chest. The suspect was convicted of murder and was sentenced to two life terms in prison.
