Description: Trooper Perez was killed after his cruiser was struck from behind while writing a traffic citation on the Ohio Turnpike in Milan, Ohio. The suspect was high on amphetamines and intentionally struck the back of Trooper Perez's vehicle at a speed of 83 MPH. Trooper Perez never regained consciousness, and died three days later from his injuries.
