Description: Deputy Peete was shot and killed after being ambushed by a mentally deranged man who had just murdered two firefighters. The firefighters had responded to a call of a house fire when they were ambushed. Before he could exit his cruiser, Deputy Peete was fatally shot. The suspect, a firefighter himself, killed three people in this incident before being shot and killed himself.
