Description: Officer Pinkelton was shot and killed during a robbery at a restaurant. Officer Pinkelton was off duty but in uniform waiting in line when an armed robber entered the establishment, grabbed him from behind, and shot him in the back of the head. The suspect was apprehended and convicted of the murder.
