Description: Officer Pruehs was on his way to report for duty when he noticed three suspicious men. When Officer Pruehs approached them they became evasive and rude and as he led them to a near-by call box, the three men turned with revolvers aimed at him. One of them shot him in the upper abdomen. Officer Preuhs died soon after in the hospital. The three suspects had also been wanted in connection with the burglary of a pharmacy.
