Description: Officer Powell was shot during a struggle inside a residence. The suspects then placed his body inside an automobile where it was found. Officer Powell's assailant was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death. Two other suspects were guilty of accessory after the fact of murder and received a suspended sentence and two years probation.
