Description: Deputy Sheriff Pattillo died in an automobile crash as he and Reserve Officer Larry Cheever were responding to an "officer needs assistance" call. Deputy Sheriff Pattillo's patrol car struck a bull as they crested a hill. Deputy Pattillo died of cardiac arrest due to multiple injuries. Officer Cheever survived the incident.
