Description: Deputies Quigley and Lamar Knight responded to a disturbance call involving shots fired. As the deputies questioned one suspect another individual approached them, began to argue, attacked Deputy Knight then shot both deputies. Deputy Quigley was shot in the abdomen and died at the hospital. Deputy Knight died at the scene. The suspect was found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
