Description: Police Officer Rodman was involved in an automobile crash on March 28, 2017, as he responded to an incident where shots were fired during a domestic disturbance call. Officer Rodman was operating his police cruiser in emergency mode. Officer Rodman had the green light and as he attempted to turn, his police cruiser was struck by an impaired driver traveling at a high rate of speed. Officer Rodman was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the next day. The suspect was charged with several felonies including causing the death of Officer Rodman.
