Description: Deputy Sheriff Rumfelt suffered a fatal heart attack after responding to assist another agency regarding a domestic disturbance call involving multiple individuals. One of the suspects fled the scene, resisted arrest and was subsequently tased by Deputy Rumfelt before being taken into custody. After approximately 30 minutes after the arrest, Deputy Rumfelt suffered a heart attack while in his patrol car, which caused his patrol car to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Deputy Rumfelt was transported to the hospital where he died.
