Description: Domesetic disturbance call. Officer Aaron Roberts and his partner Officer John Wood were dispatched to a Marietta Street caf? regarding a dispute. The officers arrived to find the owner and his wife in a bitter quarrel, but the argument appeared to be dissipating. The two officers talked briefly to both the owner and his wife. After deciding no further action would be required, Officer Roberts stood up to leave. The owner suddenly produced a pistol from beneath the counter and shot him. Officer Wood drew his weapon and fired twice at the owner. Both the officer and the suspect transported to Grady Hospital where they died the following day.
