Description: Police Officer Rossi died in the hospital after his patrol vehicle was struck by a drunken driver. Officer Rossi was waiting for a Department of Transportation truck to remove a tree from a highway ramp when a drunk driver struck Officer Rossi's patrol vehicle from behind. Officer Rossi was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
