Description: Officer Ross was shot after he arrested a burglar. Officer Ross was on patrol when he observed two suspects stealing gasoline from a filling station. Officer Ross detained one suspect but the second suspect fled. As Officer Ross was escorting the suspect to headquarters, the suspect produced a handgun and shot Officer Ross in the abdomen. Officer Ross was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
